Reality and hallucination clash badly in these circumstances

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41612

Chi-Zore climbed into the cauldron and relaxed with a paw over Mangoe's shoulder. ''Mmmmmmmm...nice and cozy.'', said the panther who had been blinded with hallucinations from the vial containing the gas. Mangoe blinked in surprise, but decided that she coul try climbing from the cauldron herself. Mangoe grabbed the edge and was just about to barely pull herself over it when Chi-Zore grabbed her waist and pulled back into the stew. ''Don't go away, babe. This hot spring is too comfortable to leave yet.'', said panther who was oblivious to the boiling stew that was cooking him and Mangoe alive. ''Please, Chi-Zore! Let me go! This may feel like a hot spring for you, but to me this feels like a boiling stew!'', pleaded Mangoe desperately. ''Nonsense!'', replied the panther. ''The water is just fine. You are simply hallucinating.'' Mangoe pushed herself away from the panther and struggled to climb over the edge, but the panther was strong enough to keep her in the stew. Mangoe was slowly reddening and becoming tired from the heat...
