The frightened medical student was desperately searching for a more civilized-looking leprechaun whom she could turn to. She finally saw an old one, probably the leader or an elder of some kind.

"Look here," she said, "don't eat me just yet! There isn't enough meat on me to make a decent meal. See how thin my thighs are?"

The old leprechaun eyed her all over, and replied,

  1. "You're right. I think you could use some fattening."
  2. "Nonsense! In fact, you look good enough to eat!"
