The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41484

Sitting in his favorite armchair in front of the fireplace, Lord Fred turned the page of his newspaper and picked up his pipe. "What was that you were saying, Velus old bean?"

"I said, I think something is wrong with me. With us. With the universe!"
"Don't be so melodramatic, old fruit."
"I'm telling you, Freddie, we don't belong here."

Fred folded his newspaper and looked over at his companion. He nodded. "I should say not, my good friend. Let's go to the club and see if the Admiral's brought his good cigars."

Velus sighed. For the nation's greatest genius, sometimes Fred could be so dense. "Very well. I could go for a good steak and cabernet, and maybe a nice port for afters."

While Velus put on his bowler hat and went through the gentleman's genuflection of spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch, Fred put out his pipe, shrugged into his coat and settled a deerstalker hat on his head. When they were ready, Fred opened the door to the room they rented on the second floor of the Baker St. house.

Standing in the doorway was a large negro, with a shaven head, wearing a long black coat and spectacles with peculiar darkened lenses. "Nothing you see is real," said the negro, presenting four pills. "Take the red pills to wake up, or the blue pills to go on sleeping."

  1. Take the red pills.
  2. Take the blue pills.
  3. Take one color each.
  4. Politely decline and go to the gentlemen's club.
