'TO FERD'

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 4143

A distinct KABONK is the last thing Fred hears for an hour.
He awakens in a small room set high above a mighty river.
It is thirty feet wide, ten feet high and slopes down to a crack at the far end. It has a well done bed, a dressed, an enscrolled lantern, a mirror, two swords set into the wall and no clear way to leave.
His equipment is in a jumbled pile in the middle of the floor.
Sitting on his boots was a white parchment. It was marked 'TO FERD'.
Obviously for him.
An explanation.
Fred walked across the cool stone floor and bent over to pick up the note.

  1. It gave a detailed but mispelled explanation on what happened between then and now. First off, Velus was fine. But he now had three eyes...
  2. The boots attempt but fail to bite Fred's fingers off. They do eat the note.
  3. Fred faints face-first into his equipment. Uh oh, concussion!
