Sir Toby summoned Scott and Josh into his office.

He apologized. "The story appears to have run into a dead end, I am afraid. I could have sent the Story Cops, but you really did not do anything wrong."

"So are we going to hunt the dragon?" said Scott.

"Well, we have some budgetary limitations ...."

"You are not going to chain us against a wall with no clothes?!" squeaked Josh.

"Oh, no. I have some surplus items that should spare both you and the readers that. Unfortunately, I do not have the resources for professional script writers, but I do have a few starter items. We are going to start with a car."

"Cool," said Scott. "Are we gonna get something like the Aston-Martin in Goldfinger? Or maybe the car in Knight Rider?"

"Item one, one '78 Ford Thunderbird, complete with eight-track tape drive, eight-track tapes, and a full tank. The tapes include the theme from the Empire Strikes Back. The Electric Light Orchestra. The Bee Gees. Elton John. Pablo Cruise."

Josh asked, "Are you sure that this is not one of those episodes where we get sent to hell?"

Sir Toby chuckled. "You will get used to it. I have also included a case of Old Milwaukee, two pairs of sunglasses, and a change of clothing - two pairs of lime green polyester pants, two pairs of brown corderoys, somewhat worn, and a pair of red and black checkered flannel shirts."

"Are you sending us back to 1979?" asked Scott?

"Oh, no. This next storyline relies on the incongruity of what you start out with and where you are going. You are going to"
