The Stone Fall

A strange place.

There was a fifteen foot wide natural stone bridge over a hundred foot wide pit. Astra couldn't see the bottom. A few straggly patches of grass had managed to work their way through the stone.
But the oddest past was on the far side of the pit. Five feet from the edge of the tunnel that contiuned the pathway, the bridge ended. In this five foot gap, the occasinal rock plunged down. All sizes fell, quietly, swiftly, never touching the sides. Astra couldn't see where they came from or where they were going. But the pauses between dangerous stones were large enough that she might, just might, be able to jump through safely.

What does Astra do now?

1. Astra decides to leap through.
2. Astra decides to retreat and find another way out.
3. Suddenly the dog appears, running straight for Astra.
