Josh has a nice dream about pie and Charisma Carpenter. When he awakens,
he is still standing on the staircase. Scott is nowhere to be seen. But
there is a piece of paper, folded many times, ten steps up. Josh grabs it
and unfolds it.

The message is from Scott, saying he had been kidnapped by Chair Elves.

It is from Josh's mother, saying he had three days to get his furry costume out of the front hall closet or it was going in the trash.

It was from Ben, talking about his favorite unhealthy snack foods.

It was from Colonel Sanders. It was a restraining order: Josh could no longer enter any KFCs, K-Marts or houses of women named Marge.

Josh is unable to read the paper as he has somehow managed to papercut his own tongue and belly button and the pain is blinding.

The paper is coated with contact LSD and Josh hallucinates normalcy.

Josh has three days of detention at school. All well and good, if he knew where school WAS.

Josh's application to join the G.I.Joe team has been accepted.

Josh's application to join Cobra has been accepted.
