the bat but since plastic is inedible, he makes no headway.
Josh slaps Scott until he calms down and both are distracted by the
graffiti on the plaster wall. Josh remembers, a couple hours after he had
first ventured down the staircase, many many years ago, writing on the
wall in a fit of creativity and malicous vandalism. He had used many, many
writing implements, some still stabbed into the wall.
