Lord Fred pulled the blade out of the sand. It was not what he was used to but at least he was now armed.
Our Hero ventured a bit into the forested land beyond the beach. He hacked up vines and made ropes. With the ropes he lugged logs. With the logs he made a shelter from the wind. With more sliced foilaged, he coated the three walls of the shelter. This served to block more wind and create a better, more convienent shelter. Lord Fred draped his clothing on a rock in his line of sight. Since it was the only clothing he had, he had to be careful to keep it dry and secure. The rising wind caused by the evening sky soon dried out the clothing. Lord Fred was cold while he waited but without the shelter things would have been much worse. Lord Fred had ventured out of the shelter and his hands were inches from the first piece of clothing when...
