Due to not getting any good lines, Scott Chen goes on strike.
"Unfair, unfair!" he chants in front of the NEQ Author Retreat in northern Maine. A brief flurry of snow has coated everything, including Scott and his sign. The water has made the sign run, making it ineligible to anyone passing by. Which nobody did because it was Maine and it was cold and the closest neighbor hated everyone but Peter Jennings.
Suddenly...

  1. his demands are met.
  2. he is trampled by wild buffalo.
  3. he is trampled by tame ducks.
  4. he is fired and replaced with a scab, specifically a kleptomaniac 7-11 clerk named Beatrix Poter.
