After waving his boney fingers at Fred and reciting his complicated incantation, Belboz casts a sobreity spell on Fred.
ZAP! Fred instantly sobers up and shows no trace of the drugs or alcohol that were in his system. However, Belboz, in his frustration with Fred, gave too powerful an incantation. Instead of merely sobering up the besotted knight, Belboz's spell turned Fred into a teetotalling zealot who has no tolerance for anyone's alcoholic indulgences. So! thunders Fred with fire and brimstone leaping accusingly from his eyes, I see that you have a beechwood barrel of beer in this home! This I cannot tolerate. The Good Book teaches us that sobriety and abstinence are the ways of the Lord. REPENT, OLD MAN, OR PAY THE PRICE! yells Fred in a threatening manner. Fred then unsheaths his sword and proceeds to destroy the beechwood barrel. He then hunts around Belboz's house looking for other drug and alcohol-related paraphernalia that he can destroy. Fred's quest is to make the world a better place and to rid it of sin. He has completely forgotten about the dragon.
