King Emry, not quite sure what had happened in the recent weeks, decided to take a vacation to the Floating Isles, a nearby kingdom friendly with his.
This kingdom was a series of island secured to the ground with mighty chains, each link bigger than a four person carriage.
There were fifty eight islands and two thousand and forty eight chains, most of them descending into the frothy, angry ocean. Oddly, about once a month a chain would snap but this would not decrease the number at all.
King Emry rode up to the Welcoming Isle bridge, which descending from the lowest isle to a high cliff set off from the Field of Breezes Beach.

  1. Things went well.
  2. Things went incredibly well.
  3. Halfway across the Celebration Bridge, King Emry's hose threw a shoe.
  4. Before he even stepped foot on Celebration Bridge, King Emry was overcome by ennui.
  5. For uncertain reasons, we slip to the viewpoint of Major Rojam, Emry's trusted five year veteran bodyguard.
