Which is why I'm going to ask if the two of you would be willing to do me a very big favour. I shall quite understand if you refuse. The only effective counter against carnage beasts is more carnage beasts. Would you be willing to be turned back to that form for an assault on Vincent's Dark Tower? Once his beasts are destroyed, I should of course turn you back. But I admit that there is a high risk that you might be killed or seriously injured, or that I myself might not survive, in which case there would be nobody left to restore you. In fact, if I don't survive then Vincent might well take control of you again. You must both agree, since one of you would have no chance against two."

"You say that the only effective counter to carnage beasts is more carnage beasts, but you managed to deal with four carnage beasts when you had none of your own," Astra pointed out.

"Yes, but that was only because Vincent was not there to control you. Had he been, I would have had no chance."
