There was a mixture of good and bad news for the four girls:
Their bodies seemed to be back to normal: Good. But they still felt the pull of the geiss: Bad. They and the chest were now on the far bank of the river that they had been trying to cross: Good. They had lost the knife and the sling: Bad. The chest appeared to be undamaged apart from a few minor scorch marks: Good. Having previously cut down three already ragged dresses in order to provide attire for four dwarf-size people, now that they had returned to full-size they were decidedly underdressed. They were handicapped by the loss of the knife, but by some judicious tearing each girl managed to fashion herself a loincloth and a makeshift bikini top out of the pieces of material that were available.
