Belboz didn't seem to hear Cecilia's question. He appeared to be deep in thought, perhaps sparked by something that Fred had said - or perhaps not. "Damn!" he suddenly swore. "Why didn't I think of this before? It's so obvious."

"What is?" Fred asked.

"This," Belboz replied. A quick gesture and incantation, and Fred was transformed into a perfect double of Rogell!

"Now," Belboz said...

  1. "We need to arrange for you to be seen doing things that will discredit Rogell."
  2. "You should be able to escort me past the real Rogell's security so that I can get close to him."
  3. "We get you - posing as Rogell - to renounce your claim to the throne in favour of Cecilia."
