Fred's Poem, for Archers

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 39576

The King rejects Fred’s second poem. He says it’s uninspired and insists he rewrite it. Fred is crushed.

After a sleepless night of brainstorming, Fred renders his second version which goes like this:

Fred’s Poem, for Archers

I like shooting barbarians with my bow
Oh, don’t you know
I’ll shoot most any foe
I’ll shoot them in the knee
I’ll shoot them in the throat
I’ll shoot them when they flee
Especially if they’re slow
I’ll even shoot a nun
If she’s in the castle moat
Or if she rows a boat
I don’t like nuns

“I love it!” the King approves. “But it’s a little long, perhaps you should show it to Jason and shorten it a bit.”

Fred does just that, and the edited rendition goes something like this...

Fred's Poem, for Archers

I don't like nuns
I shoot them with my bow

  1. The King rejects this version, and both Fred and Jason go back to the drawing board.
