Janet Has A Suggestion

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 39447

Janet has a suggestion. She knew of a small colony of religous people far to the south. Called Anaheim. They advertised in the main square of several towns as a place where women could go if 'their men treated them in a manner unbecoming a lady'. Of course, all the girls knew that it meant 'if your husband starts hitting you'.
Janet was pretty sure that she remembered the way but she did not, they could stop at the nearest town's library.
They headed off. They skirted the village Vix had seen for it had been Janet's homeplace and she did not want to risk confronting someone too stupid to realize Janet was running away. (Most of the townspeople would support her but way too many would not or could not understand).
The two ventured on. Janet and Vix got to talking and Vix soon realized her companion knew an awful lot of dirty jokes. It made the time pass.

  1. So it ended up they were at the front gates of the religous town.
  2. Janet got lost and they had to stop at a library. Fortunately she was not well known in this neighboring town.
  3. Same as #2 but her husband's friends were there and tried to subdue Janet. Vix had to break some bones.
  4. We cut to Janet and Vix hiding on a rooftop as her husband and twenty 'friends' rampage through the town looking for her. (Seems Janet married a local millitia commander who had jerks and crooks for men).
