Though Reaibn had earlier run off (23569-3), his enormous power had
enabled him to listen to Fred and Astra from a distance, and then to send
the warriors and the naked women to them. He quickly realised that he had
made a mistake when the warrior-women, disoriented and confused by what
had happened, drew their swords. It looked as though they were about to
attack the Allarian maidens.
Reaibn might be insane, but he was well-meaning, and he didn't want any bloodshed. If the Aqualarians were determined to fight the Allarians, then he would need to act fast. The Aqualarians' armour promptly vanished, leaving them as naked as their opponents, and their swords transformed into pillows. The Allarian maidens found that they too were now wielding pillows. Soon a huge pillow-fight was in progress. By rights, the Aqualarians should still have the better of it, since they were bigger and stronger than the Allarians, but at least nobody would get hurt. Reaibn had used his power to make sure that it wouldn't occur to either side that they could inflict far more damage if they dropped their pillows and engaged in unarmed combat.
