Bringing Fred back to life

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 38950

Deep within the Southern Caves is a secret place, where necromancers and dark creatures have gathered since the Old Days to perform ancient rituals and ceremonies that give them special powers to fight the forces of good. An ancient altar stands in the middle of this enormous room, and this was where Belboz placed Lord Fred's charred remains. He was all alone, since all the other beasts were at the Dragon's big Summer Party.

As he opened several small bottles of potion and started pouring it over the corpse, Belboz started singing the ancient Song of Resurrection:

"Bjørnen sover, bjørnen sover
i sitt lune hi..."

Then he pulled out a long, sharp knife.

"...Den er ikke farlig, bare man går varlig
Men man kan jo, men man kan jo
Aldri være TRYGG!"

At the last word of the song, Belboz clenched the blade with his left hand and let it sink into his flesh. As he opened his hands and let the blood pour out over Fred's body, the potion started working.
The altar was enveloped in a shimmering light, and the ground shook beneath Belboz' feet. Parts of the roof started coming down all around him.

  1. Suddenly, Fred opened his eyes.
  2. Suddenly, a horde of demons poured in after having been thrown out of the Dragon's cave.
