Fred knew what he had to do. His quest was to kill the evil Xward, and
now was his only change. He turned to face his enemy.
Xward dove in and the battle began. Scales flew everywhere. Claws and teeth sunk into flesh. Fire scorched the earth. Although Xward was a mighty fighter, Fred's zealous desire to do good prevailed. Eventually, Xward was defeated and lay on the ground panting. "Mercy!" he cried. Fred turned to Audrey. It was up to her to determine Xward's fate.
