Astra's Turn

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 38399

The chains that dangled from Astra's wrists suddenly seemed to acquire a life of their own. Before she knew what was happening they had dragged her arms behind her back. The loose ends of the two chains fused together, and then the chain shortened until it was only a few inches in length. The end result was that her hands were cuffed together behind her.

Meanwhile Fred was still hopping and yelping, but his skin showed no signs of any burns. His pain must be an illusion, but that was little consolation.

  1. They hear Manathus's voice, asking them if they yield.
  2. Manathus hasn't finished with Astra yet. Apparently being nude, filthy and cuffed aren't sufficient punishments for defying him.
  3. Unexpectedly, help comes.
