Fred, hoping that he could sucessfully pass for Leonora, decided to remain with the Dragoness. She had caught the egg, then snorted a small fireball down the passageway that Eritrea had disappeared into. Suddenly seeming much calmer, she turned to Fred. Fred gulped, trying to think of what he might say to this creature. Perhaps staying behind was not such a good idea after all. "You are not Leonora," the Dragoness said calmly. Fred momentarily pretended to be a mixture of surprized and offended, as the Dragoness spoke again, "I always have to question that girl whenever she came in. She's not always who she seems. I assume Leonora has taken your rightful body, she was planning to do something of the like, against my wishes. This isn't the first time she has. Don't worry, I don't plan to harm you. I can help you get your old body back if you wish." This was unexpected. Sympathy from a dragon. Fred tried to keep himself from grinning. Then he remembered his old body impaled on a stone. He hoped he could return to it. He hoped the Dragoness wouldn't go into another rage learning her servant was dead!
