The Home for Dislocated Creatures

Drone 11453 opened the large package that arrived on the doorstep of the Home for Dislocated Creatures. Inside, wrapped tightly in string, he found a monstrously huge hairless ape creature.

It was still alive, so he had it transferred into one of the holding cages. The drones fed it and watered it daily, and it seemed to be OK.

Unfortunately, the package arrived with no instructions, and Drone 11453 wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to do with the creature. Usually, a manticore or a giant anaconda or a velociraptor would appear, with a set of directions firmly attached: Introduce in Episode 36467, for example, or Terminate with Care. This giant hairless ape, however, had no instructions at all.

One morning, Drone 23111, the clumsiest of all the drones, spilled a cup of coffee on a routine bureaucratic form. Numbers were transposed, and as a result, later that afternoon, Drone 11453 determined that the giant hairless ape should be delivered to Episode 37091.
