The man turns and Belboz recognizes the intruder. A fellow wizard who....

And a blinding flash of pain rips through the fell wizard and. . . . darkness.

Randall Flag smiles a slightly sad smile before speaking to himself.

"Well, he was a friend," he says softly. "But then again he'd misuse them and make things difficult for me. Besides....I can make new friends."
