In the money

"Josh," said Furry Sara curiously. "Do you know where this money comes from?"

"No," Josh quipped, "but if you hum a few bars I can fake it."

They stared at each other. "Didn't we do that joke already?"

"Probably on some other thread." Josh sauntered over and peeked into the trashcan. "Oh, that money."

"That money?" Sara asked. "As opposed to some other money?"

"This money," Josh explained patiently, "comes from people paying me to be crazy."

"That's crazy!"

"Exactly! To elaborate, they are paying me to be crazy elsewhere. But I can't, because as soon as I go elsewhere people will do the same thing there. That's how I ended up in the Staircase Room. And I couldn't keep the money because I hadn't really done what they paid me for, so I just threw it out."

"Now I've heard everything!" Sara blurted.

"Yeah, story of my life. Literally. Wanna make out now?"

1. No way!
2. Yes way.
3. Norway.
4. Amway.
5. Take the money and run. Hop. Whatever.
6. Only if it's short for make like a tree and get out.
