The arrows hit the advancing cyborg dead on, and only make Seeker look down at the arrows in askance.
The Amazon guards goggle at the sight of the old seeming woman pulling the arrows from her breast. The arrows, razor sharp, should have peirced the witchs heart, but.....
"Synth skin is a Hell of a sight more resistant to peircing weapons than mere human flesh," the AI smiles as he makes his avatar advance. "Try again."
Fred and Para-Astra look at each other. Para-Astra has a look of surprise and dismay. Fred has a look of "Where did you get these guards?" on his face. Fred then snatches the revolver, a gift from the ladyfox Alicia down in Panaras, and empties the cylinder into the advancing cyborg.
The bullets causes Seeker to pause, and nod in approval.
Now that's more like it! the rogue AI thinks to himself before starting again. Nice to see that not all of these wogs are hidebound......
Fred watches as the guards (who STILL haven't drawn their guns) scream and charge the advancing AI.
He looks over at Para-Astra, and seems to say "Goodbye."
"RUN!" Fred screams as he charges the occupied AI. "I'll hold him off!"
Para-Astra looks after Fred, and feels something stir within her breast. This man had been nothing but honorable when he had rescued her from the vile wyrms grasp. This man had averted his eyes to spare her her dignity while she was dressing. This man had searched high and low for her when Minestus kidnapped her and changed her into a demifox. This man....was going to throw his life away for a chance that she could get away to safety.
This woman felt herself fall in love.
"FRED!!" she screams as she draws her sword. If the Alliance fiend was going to take the life of Fred 2, then it could damn well take HERS as well....take it or she and Fred 2 (her love) would take it's!
Crap! Seeker thinks as he starts to battles the sword swinging humans. This would be a damn sight easier if I didn't want to take these analogs alive!!
