Jasper, stunned and confused after Josh assaulted him, wanders off in his
sexy butler uniform. He stumbles around, drools a little, then does a
faceplant into a poinsetta plant. Several hours later, Mitchell, the
effeminate librarian, finds him, drags him to the makeshift employee
lounge and cleans him up. There is an astonishingly bright orange sofa kitty-corner against the wall. There is an ancient, rumbly fridge, several random counters absolutely filled with nonsense, three pantry sections (two books, one food) and, the oddest part of all, a Sega Genesis hooked to a television. Okay, that wasn't unusual, the odd part was, there was no logical support for the game system or the tv. Some thin metal bars and an empty rack, but that was it. Anyway... The walls were dull green, the carpet some sort of icky brown and the drop ceiling had decades old water stains from long-fixed pipe problems. The plumbers didn't have drop ceilings and the library managers had pissed off the drop-ceiling production people by calling on the weekends when their offices were abandonded for tax reasons.
