A Bit of Spelunking

"I don't recall seeing this cave before," said Astra, "and I drive this road all the time."

"We don't need to go too far in," replied Fred shivering. As they moved father in, Fred saw an usual rock formation in the wall. Examining it further, it seemed to be almost in the shape of a man embedded in the rock.

"Hey, c'mere," called Fred. "This is erie."

Astra came over and peered at the dark rock with the flashlight. "It looks like a man, and he's holding something." As she touched the rock, it broke off in her hand. Inside was a scrap of paper.

1. Fred and Astra return to the mouth of the cave to read the scrap.
2. It turns out their imaginations were only fooling them.
3. The man bursts from the wall.
