Josh follows Sara.
A few feet away from the staircase she spins around. "Why are you following me? Did you forget where the kitchen was?"
"Um, yeah."
"Oh, christ." Sara puts a paw to her head. "I was joking! Ah, screw it."
She spins on one foot and heads off. In moments they were in the kitchen.
"Ah, that's where this was." Josh glories in the yellow tile, the pea-soup green walls and the dark purple ceiling.
Furry Sara opens the fridge and comes out with a can of Mountain Dew. She bites into the side with her powerful rabbity-teeth and chugs it. In moments she is done.
She slams it onto the counter, crushing the can.
Two more follow.
Sara slams the fridge.
"Where is the trash can, Joshy?"
Josh stammers.

  1. "Over there." he points.
  2. "Over there." he points to a door. But behind it is a staircase to a nuclear bomb shelter.
  3. He can't remember.
  4. He doesn't remember but by sheer luck he manages to point to it anyway.
  5. He points to a waste-disintegration tube by the oven.
  6. Josh swiftly dies of ennui. The story follows Sara.
