I Find That I'm Not There

While hiding out of sight from the minions of Carlos the Caterpillar, Fred reviews his two plans to keep out of the dungeons:

The first one involves not staying in one place for longer than ten minutes. Granted, Fred would get no sleep at all tonight, and he would look rather out of place to the natives who rarely get up from their comfortable positions, but he could evade capture easier.

The second plan was Fred finding an unoccupied bed, getting in, pulling the covers over his head, and going to sleep. As far as he could tell, Carlos the Caterpillar's solders rarely disturbed anyone who had fallen asleep.

What will Fred do?

1. The first plan: keep moving.
2. The second plan: go to sleep.
3. Fred is instantly captured and thrown into the Wool Dungeon.
