Buffy decided the best way to get Xander's attention was to kill one of
them and smear Xander's name in their blood. Neither Josh or Scott were
too keen on the idea, but Buffy threatened to kill them both, if they
didn't agree. So they went along with it, both hoping they'd be the one
spared. After a few seconds decision, Buffy killed Scott. Josh did his best not to utter a sound while Buffy used a large quantity of the now deceased Scott's blood to 'paint' Xander's name on a wall. She then wiped the blood off her hands on Josh's clothes. Was this drastic tactic successful in contacting Xander?
