"I'm..." said Bonnie. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause discomfort."
Astra looked at the water. "Um..."
"Friends?" Bonnie said. "Seriously."
"Understood." Astra said. She headed for the shore. "I'm sorry you're stuck here with us but damn, it's a relief to have another woman around. Especially one who can fight."
Suddenly there was a rustle in the trees. Several branches bent back.
"AW, COME ON!" screamed Alfred, naked as a jaybird. "Kiss her already!"
"What?" Bonnie said.
Alfred slipped, yelled and fell five feet into the water.
"Oh god." said Astra. "We better rescue the old fool."

  1. Alfred swam to the far shore himself.
  2. A branch cracked and Fred and Velus fell into the water.
  3. A branch cracked and some woman they never saw fell into the water.
  4. Two Alfreds swim to opposite shores.
