Harsh Words

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 34807

"Hello," Astra said. "I thought that you were supposed to be off killing the dragon, not skulking in a linen closet?"

"I am not skulking," Fred objected. "I merely carried out a tactical withdrawal from some foul, misshapen, vicious black beast. But tell me, how did you get free of your chains?"

"The dragon decided that I would be more use to him as a servant than as a prisoner, so he unchained me. I'm to collect a washcloth and a towel, and then am to run him a bath and get him clean."

"So you can lead me right to him. Excellent!"

"Do you think that you're man enough for the job of killing him, if you couldn't even cope with some lesser monster? Perhaps you should let me have your sword, and I will do the deed."

"But you've already tried and failed once. Unlike you, I haven't lost my clothes, spent time chained up, or been reduced to the status of a dragon washer."

  1. Things get even more heated.
  2. Fred and Astra make up.
  3. Fred and Astra's argument was too loud. It attracted the attention of someone passing the linen closet.
