The Rooftop McDonalds

As they continued walking through the fog, they saw something large loom
up ahead of them. A few minutes later they found out it was the Golden
Arches used by McDonalds. Of course, neither of them knew there was a
rooftop one, which seemed even more ridiculous than there being one in the
Staircase Room. Even stranger, it appeared to be a Drive-Thru, which
unsurprisingly wasn't currently being attended. They were soon to find
that the whole fast food restaurant was deserted. It looked like there had
been nobody there for days. Josh and Scott decided to take advantage of this and make themselves a couple of cheeseburgers with fries. They were stymied however when they found there was absolutely no food around. Not even a crumb. In fact there was no much of anything. They had a good look around. Disappointed, they left the McDonalds and carried on walking. It wasn't long before they discovered something else. What was it this time?
