Indulging Fred

You decide to play along for the time being, as it could give you the
opportunity to temporarily disable Fred so you can slay the Dragon. You
run off as Fred continues to count. Ideally you'll like to find somewhere
where Fred was likely to run past, so you could sneak up behind him and
brain him. You feel a tad guilty about thinking of such things, but you
tell yourself it's for Fred's own good. You'd think the caverns and tunnels of the caves would have a fair number of suitable places to find. You have no joy until you find one at roughly the same time as you hear Fred footsteps behind you.
