Of course, this is to be expected. Right now, Fred is confused by the concept of Fred.
Confused, Fred manages to face plant into the Shield of One Thousand Victories.
It was a legendary item, for it was thought that whoever weilded it could never fail again.
But as Fred's smashed nose and split lip smeared against the rough, moldy, sweat-stained leather of the inside of the shield, his simple, child-like mind is open to the 'victories'.
Blocking sticks in a practice session. Being used to dig a hole to plant a tree. Holding more apples then some ugly guy in a dress picked. Being used as an umbrella. Pretty crappy victories.
Fred giggles. Legendary object not so legendary.

  2. The start of the most recent confusion shows up. It's Fred's sixth grade teacher and part time Dimensional Angel.
  3. You and Boobs return, hoisting several naked midget females. Fred dimly remembers the small women were wanted for stealing male undergarments, without the males being allowed to remove them first.
  4. Boobs returns, holding the Sword Of Power in one hand and the Dagger Of Free Candy in the other.
  5. Milkshakes all around.
