The Never Ending Quest - Episode 34498

A pair of guards came along the corridor on their regular patrol. They were extremely surprised to see Lord Fred standing in the doorway of Princess Exotica's bedroom, dressed in rags. Having been missing for over a year, everyone had assumed that he must have been yet another of the dragon's victims.

"Lord Fred!" one of the guards exclaimed. "We'd all given you up for dead. How did you manage to get into the palace without being spotted?"

Fred started to explain.

  1. As a nobleman and knight of the realm, his amazing story was believed.
  2. His story was too amazing to be believable, even from a nobleman and knight of the realm.
  3. But the guards weren't listening, being distracted by the sound of singing coming from the bathroom. It was a female voice, but clearly not Exotica's. They pushed past Fred, and burst into the bathroom.
  4. But the guards weren't listening, since they were too busy laughing at Velus, visible behind Fred, who was removing at item of Exotica's underwear from his hair.
