Refreshing the parts you didn't know needed refeshing

A minute later the can had shown no sign of getting warmer or less stuck, and Stacy decided to try a different approach. It was the contents of the can that kept it cold, so she would have to empty it. To avoid getting any of her free fingers stuck to the can top, she fished around in her pockets until she found a pencil stub, with which she managed to lift the ring enough to slip the pencil into it and pull the tab off.

1. She drinks the soda.
2. She pours out the soda.
3. The can must have been badly shaken, as soon as it opens the content explodes out of it as if someone dropped a pound of Mentos in it.
4. For some weird metaphysical reason the content of the can freezes solid on exposure to air.
5. Whatever is in the can is rotten and stinks enough to make Stacy pass out.
6. A small genie pops (duh) out of the can to grant Stacy three fishes.
