The Never Ending Quest - Episode 33521

I closed my eyes and stepped, not without some nervousness, onto the moving stairway. I soon found that it made me dizzy to stand on the staircase with my eyes closed, so I opened them, making sure to keep them fixed on the floor. I was lucky that I had--the staircase soon came to an abrupt stop as I reached the floor, and I probably would have hit the floor if I hadn't reacted in time.

I found myself in

  1. A large, well-furnished banquet hall, empty of all save myself.
  2. A large room full of even more blinking lights. A strange being was staring impassively at me.
