Josh takes his seat in front of the Staircase Room Coffee House, where it was open mic night. Various patrons discuss completely pretentious topics and sip coffee, whether they can stomach the beverage or not. "This thing on?" Josh asks, sparking a short burst of feedback.

"Carrot Top, and pondering how such a being can exist!" Josh announces. "Okay, we have a comedian with bright red hair, an obnoxious personality, and he originally gets by with dozens and dozens of pre- assembled props that he makes his jokes about. Then, he becomes more famous, and a commercial pitchman for a phone company. Yet, he's still not that funny! How could Carrot Top win the entertainer of the year award in 1994, mere days after the tragic death of Bill Hicks? Can such an untalented hack truly exist in this world?"

  2. The crowd roars in approval.
  3. The crowd is mostly indifferent. So Josh starts telling dirty jokes.
  4. Josh suddenly bellows "Sock it to me!!" and gets drenched with water.
  5. Josh fails to realize the irony of his last sentence.
