The Never Ending Quest - Episode 33251

The Wizard conjured up saddlebags for Fred and Vela. In them were clothes and weapons for when they willed themselves back to human, plus an enchanted hacksaw that was guaranteed to cut through Astra's chains. "Nobody is likely to find the saddlebags suspicious," he assured them. "It would be quite normal for horses and donkeys to carry them."

Fred and Vela returned to the caves. As they had hoped, they had no trouble in getting past the security patrols that guarded the inner areas. Intelligent animals that were servants of the dragon commonly passed to and fro.

Before long, they were in the stables. Ensuring that they were unobserved, other than by a handful of (normal) horses, they willed themselves human again.

  1. They duly transformed back, and then dressed themselves using the clothes in the saddlebags.
  2. But nothing happened.
  3. Two people transforming simultaneously caused an unexpected problem. Fred found himself in Vela's body, and Vela was in Fred's!
  4. The real horses freaked
