Music in the Caves

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 32787

Astra had given no thought to leaving the caves rather than going deeper in. First, rumour had it that putting the blood of a dragon on your skin would lift any curse. And second, she had a score to settle with the dragon. She hadn't appreciated being captured and chained up.

Now it seemed that she had a choice of two ways to go. Curious as to whether it really was music that she could hear, and intrigued as to who could possibly be playing music in such a place, she took the first of the two tunnels.

As she proceeded down the tunnel, the sound grew louder, and soon there was no doubt that it was indeed music.

  1. Too late, she realised that it was the singing of a siren which she could hear, which legends said was so beautiful that no-one who heard it could bear to turn their back on it and depart.
  2. It was a string quartet!
  3. Someone was playing a harp.
