Jarlath:
I'd prepared myself for all eventualities, I'd thought, but I'd never considered the possibility of anything like this. From my prone position on the carpet, I look up and see a tall and very attractive wood elf, who might have passed as a slim human woman were it not for her pointed ears. The dress that she's wearing leaves little to the imagination, being very short and with a top that's slashed to the navel, allowing me to see the large ruby that's placed there. Obviously, I don't have time for romantic dalliance, even were I tempted by her. Not to mention the fact that two of the "friends" that the elf referred to are actually my wives! So I need a way of dissuading this amorous elf without hurting her, since as far as I know she's not guilty of any evil. The trouble with elves is that, depending on just what type they are, they are often immune to sleep spells. It seems like the first thing to try, even so, but as I'd feared it doesn't work. I'd cast the spell as quickly as possible, without even stopping to stand up first, so I'm only just scrambling to my feet when the elfwoman throws herself on me and kisses me.
