Sir Josh, having been rescued from his own people by what is now his own
people's enemies, is so confused he decides not to kill anyone.
Sir Josh runs into the woods surrounding the execution fields.
He soon makes it into elfen territory. This country wasn't always part of
the known geography...for some time the Elfen lands had been accessible
via the Three Kingdoms, before that, one had to go to the Floating Isles.
But Sir Josh was fortunate, not in just that the lands were now 'here'. A
vast majority of Aqualarian knights were allowed into elfen territory
after the Shimmer Conflicts of last year and Sir Josh knew that he would,
at minimum, be allowed to cross. A problem arose, though.

A vast squadron of men, enough to overwhelm the elfen guards (some were always near human lands) chase Sir Josh into a rocky area.

The elves, though acknowledging Sir Josh's heroism in helping them in the Shimmer Conflicts, take him prisoner.

Sir Josh goes back in time, during the worst of the Shimmer Conflicts.

An elfen arrow goes straight through Sir Josh's left arm...but all elves had memetic memory...pain...faint...Sir Josh was KNOWN by the elves...oops, hello, darkness!

He was back in the Execution Fields. Seems the elves had perfected their talked about Territorial Deflection Spell.

A badly performed border protection spell sends Sir Josh back in time well before the elves knew of him.

The Hespans had taken the Aqualarian conflict as a chance to en-masse magically attack the Elfen lands.
