Indeed it seemed as though God must have made a mistake. The foliage of
the jungle that Fred and Astra had materialised in was coloured a strange
bluish-green. Even more unsettling, the cloudless sky above them was a
pale yellow rather than blue.
"Not only are we in the wrong world," Astra said, "but we forgot to ask God to provide us with any clothes. Not to mention the tools and supplies that we will need. Even a knife would be something." Then they heard God's voice echoing around them: "Oh, this is the right world all right. But you've been away for almost a thousand years. During that time, the people of your world developed an advanced technology. They managed not only to wipe themselves out in a great war fought one hundred years ago, but also to radically change the environment in the process. Don't worry; the radiation is no longer life-threatening. Not that you'd know what radiation is, of course. But you may find that some of the plants and animals have mutated in interesting ways, though. "As for providing you with tools and supplies:
