The Never Ending Quest - Episode 320

Okay, so apparently Fred has had a psychotic episode or something and was
kidnapped by evil forces. He awakens in the dungeons controlled by the
Demon Dragon. (Who was just the regular dragon but liked to be called a
demon. Actually, he just brainwashed random people so as to spread the
cool nickname). He could tell these were his dungeons because of the way they were constructed. A chain reaching up into the shadows and a ten foot by twenty foot cage. The bars were six inches apart, except for one short end. This just led off into obvlivion. The Pit Of Despair. Everyone thought it was bottomless and those who were shaken out of their cages as punishment never returned in any form. (Reports say nobody ever heard the sound of a body hitting). Fred looked around for the other cages but the light that somehow came from above the roof of the cell did not show any. The dragon must not have any other prisoners. Fred pondered. How did the other knights escape from this prison, so as to tell their tales? Oh yeah. Gandal. But he had gone off with those halflings and the poncy diva archer. He'd be no help now. Fred had to escape. He looked at his resources. A cot bolted to the rails, a pillow stuffed with feathers, three pots for waste, two more for food and water and pile of soft cover books in the corner. (The dragon recognized the need for entertainment. A bored-to-insanity prisoner could spill no info). Fred pondered some more.
