In order to REALLY tell how good the ham is, Fred does all of them at once.
He touches the ham. "It FEELS rotten. . ." he said.
He bites off an end of the ham. "It TASTES rotten. . ." he said.
He feels the ham, which is the same as touching it but Fred doesn't give a
damn. "It FEELS rotten. . ." he said.
He looks at the ham that he'd already been looking at all this time. "It
LOOKS rotten. . ." he said.
He held the ham up to his right ear. He didn't hear anything, so he gave
it a shake. "It doesn't SOUND rotten. . ." he said.
He used his special magic telepathy and check the ham. "I see. . . that
it's rotten. . ." he said.
He felt it and stared at it at the same time. "It LOOKS and FEELS rotten
at the same time. . ." he said.
