He grips the meat, kneeding it with his fingers and peering close into
its soft core. It should be sweet but the fingers have no tongue, his eyes
have no nose. How close should he hold it? How deep should he
penetrate the innards? How far dare he risk himself against the honey
glaze?

He's got to go all the way, through the flesh, into the bone to discover the sweetness

He need only scratch the surface; the moist ham will reveal its secrets to him

He should still his raging lust and only go half deep so as not to tarnish the wholesome texture
