Astra might on occasion be impetuous, but she was not stupid. She knew
that arranging to go with these men after dark could be dangerous. So she
suggested: "Perhaps we can make arrangements for tomorrow morning?"
"You'd be taking a risk that the other customer that I mentioned might be able to come up with the price first," Rob pointed out. "I really think that it would be much wiser for you to view the centaur tonight. Then if you make us a firm offer we'll give you priority." "Well, all right," she conceded. "But you must understand that, even if I'm satisfied by what you show me and commit myself to buying him, I won't be able to get the money out of the bank till the morning." That should discourage them from trying anything tonight, she hoped. She continued: "Shall we meet back here in say an hour?" That would give her plenty of time in which to brief Fred.
