"I suppose this must be the dragon's wine cellar," Fred said. "But were these men supposed to be guarding it, or were they trying to steal from it?"

"From their positions, they were asleep when they were attacked," Astra replied. "Surely thieves wouldn't sleep on the job? Besides, they aren't dressed like thieves. I'd imagine that these are three of the dragon's servants, who were less than vigilant. Whoever was responsible for their deaths could be useful allies for us."

"Not necessarily. They may not be interested in overthrowing the dragon, merely in stealing his wine."

"Surely no thieves could be so foolhardy as to risk the dragon's wrath like this for the sake of a few bottles of wine? No, I think this must be the sign that there is a resistance movement operating in the caves. We must seek them out."

"Easier said than done," Fred pointed out.
